DIRECTIONS

Having or knowing what God wants to do in our lives and the world at large isn't sufficient in itself because there's a pathway to it

 Therefore it's not enough to know the WHAT but the HOW

Luke 1:34-35 

 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

An Angel appeared to Mary and told her what God wanted to do to her 

Luke 1:31  

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

 

But she asked a very intelligent question because she knows that for every *Kingdom purpose, there must be a pattern*

We may have similar purpose or promises of God concerning our lives but the pathway to its fulfillment individually is different

 But if it's not discovered, it'll look as though there was no promise

Psalms 23:1-2 

 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

 

The question is where is He leading you to??

 

What God wants to do is the informative but how he wants to do it is the direction

 Jesus was about to be crowned and made a King on the earth but scriptures says that when he discovered it, he left their midst and hid himself that's because He knew the HOW

 

1 Corinthians 2:10 

 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

 

It's the sole responsibility of the custodian of the mysteries of God to unveil to us when we inquire and seek the pathway

 In the place of prayer and waiting upon his voice

 WHY DO WE NEED 'the how'??

 

1. So we can walk with accuracy and precision. 

The reason for several mistakes in our lives is because we didn't understand the 'how' of God's plans

 Ephesians 5:15  *See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,*

 Time is too precious for us to experiment with our lives

 We ought to Ephesians 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

2. To guide our decision making processes

 When u don't understand the how, every door may look like the right door

 Ecclesiastes 10:15  The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.

 The how may look foolish to you but in it is the sovereign wisdom of God

 

Could it be that your current situation with seemingly no answer is the wisdom of God at work but you're not aware

 

1 Corinthians 2:8 

 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

 3. It sponsors faith in your spirit

 James 1:2-3  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

You'll gladly go through challenges when you understand this

Don't just know the what, journey with the Holy Ghost and let Him show you the how.
